Delete your REM:Code account
Last updated: October 8, 2026
You can delete your REM:Code account and the data associated with it at any time. This applies to the iOS and Android apps, the web app and the agent: they all use the same account.
Delete from the iOS app
In the iOS app, open Settings > Delete Account > Delete My Account and confirm. Your cloud account data is deleted immediately and connected devices are signed out. Cancel any active subscription separately in your App Store account settings.
If you used Sign in with Apple, the app will also show how to remove the Apple sign-in connection in your device's Settings. Your REM:Code data is deleted even if you skip that step.
Other apps or older versions
- Send an email to hello@remcode.app from the email address of your REM:Code account, with the subject Delete my REM:Code account.
- Tell us which provider you sign in with (Google, GitHub or Apple). If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm the request from the account address.
- We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it is done.
Signing out of the app or uninstalling it does not delete your account.
What we delete
- Your account: email address, name, sign-in provider ID and the short account identifier
- Authentication tokens of all your devices and agents (we store only their hashes)
- Linked devices and their push notification tokens
- The approximate location (city) stored with your account
- Agent records and agent telemetry linked to your account
- Builds you shared for installing on your phone
- The link between your account and any App Store or Google Play subscription
What we keep, and for how long
- Server connection logs (IP address, timestamps) — up to 90 days, for security and abuse prevention, then deleted automatically
- Records we are required to keep by law, such as billing records for paid subscriptions — only for the legally required period
Data on your own devices
Your code, sessions and conversations never live on our servers — they stay on your computer. To remove them, uninstall the agent and delete its data folder. A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is managed by the store: cancel it there before deleting the account.
